Hi, I’m Natasha May,

Registered Psychotherapist, MACP, RP

I have five years of experience providing counselling support to individuals across a wide range of concerns, age groups, family situations, and cultural backgrounds, including dedicated support for LGBTQIA+ individuals. I hold a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University, as well as an undergraduate degree in Psychology with a minor in Family and Child Studies from the University of Guelph.
I believe that you are the expert in your own life, and my role is to walk alongside you as a supportive partner in your journey toward becoming the best version of yourself. I view counselling as a collaborative process, grounded in the belief that each person already possesses the inner strengths and potential needed to achieve meaningful growth, healing, and personal goals.
My approach to counselling is integrative and client-centered, drawing from evidence-based modalities including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Narrative Therapy, and other therapeutic frameworks, all delivered through a trauma-informed lens. I recognize that individuals enter counselling with varying levels of readiness, and I strive to meet you where you are, supporting you at every step of the process.

I work with concerns such as anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, family dynamics, relationship and couples’ concerns, burnout, stress, and grief, as well as other challenges you may be facing. Faith-based counselling is also available for clients who wish to incorporate spirituality into their therapeutic journey. It would be an honour to walk alongside you as you explore your next steps and move toward the life and self you wish to become.

Hi, I’m Thor!

Service Dog

Hello, my name is Thor. I am a service dog for Natasha, which means that I have tasks that help mitigate her disabilities. I am a three year old golden retriever and have been working now for over two years. When I am not working, I am a typical happy go lucky golden, smiling, playful, and a little mischievous. However, when I am at work, I am very serious, even though at times it may look like I am sleeping. So, if I do not approach you, it is because I am doing my job, not because I don’t like you. Right now, I am only here to help Natasha, so I have eyes and tasks only for her.

Let’s work together
