Tori Lewis
Registered Social Worker, BSW, MSW, RSW
Hi, I'm Tori Lewis, a Registered Social Worker (BSW, MSW, RSW) with a background in trauma-informed and neurodivergent-affirming care.
I work with individuals navigating some of life's most complex and layered experiences, whether that's healing from trauma, making sense of a late diagnosis, or finding your footing through a major life transition. Whatever brings you here, you're welcome to show up exactly as you are.
My Approach to Therapy
At the heart of my practice is the relationship. I work relationally first, because I believe that authentic human connection between therapist and client is one of the most powerful parts of the healing process. From that foundation, I draw on person-centred, strengths-based, and mindfulness-informed approaches, always following your pace and readiness rather than a predetermined script or timeline. For trauma and related presentations, I am also trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing).
Therapy with me is collaborative and exploratory. We'll work together to figure out what actually fits you, your needs, your values, your life, and build from there. Healing isn't a linear process, and I don't expect it to be. There's room in my approach for the messy, nonlinear, and sometimes contradictory parts of that journey.
